What will summer in the city look like in a world affected by global warming? This film attempts to answer that question by exploring the changes our environment undergoes in the face of intensifying climate change. Styled as a newsreel, the film sequentially presents the consequences of climate warming in the context of the summer season in the city. By portraying these negative changes as exciting innovations, and using a style borrowed from Communist-era propaganda films, the film emphasizes the tendency to downplay the issue and the naivety of such thinking. The open-ended conclusion aims to provoke reflection on the future of our planet.
